题 目:Well-posedness and behaviors of the compressible Navier-Stokes equations

摘要:The isentropic compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes equations (CNS) are investigated in 2D and 3D, where the viscosity coefficients are allowed to possibly depend on the fluid density. The typical model for the CNS is the viscous Saint-Venant system in the description of the motion for shallow water. Such viscous compressible models with density-dependent viscosity coefficients and its variants appear in geophysical flows. As the viscosity coefficients are constants, we have theclassical compressible Navier-Stokes equations.The main purpose of this talk aims at the existence and behaviors of solutions to the CNS with (partially) density-dependent viscosity coefficients in the appearance of vacuum, including the initial value problem and the free boundary value problem for the CNS.
