  Brick finiteness of classical Schur algebras

  要: Classical Schur algebras, which bridge the representations of symmetric groups 
and general linear groups over a field, have been a cornerstone in representation theory and
 Lie theory since their introduction. Many structural results of classical Schur algebras have
 been known, for example, their representation type has been well-understood for over two
 decades. In this talk, we will explore a novel property, i.e., brick finiteness, of classical
Schur algebras. This property intersects with several areas of representation theory, including
 τ-tilting theory and silting theory, offering new insights into the structure of these algebras.
