Title: An introduction to Koszul algebras and Koszul duality

Abstract: Koszul duality is a concept which occurs in various branches of pure mathematics. Originating in the study of quadratic algebras, it now features prominently in the study of the BGG category O, in topology, in combinatorics, for the category of polynomial functors and dg-categories. The aim of this talk aims to give an introduction to the classical theory of Koszul algebras including some basics on graded algebras, quadratic algebras, Koszul algebras and Koszul duality.
