Title: Deformation of Gm-Singularities and Moduli of holomorphic differential

Abstract: Given a holomorphic differential on Riemann surfaces, we associate to it a Gorenstein singularity with Gm-action via a test configuration. This decomposes the moduli of holomorphic differentials with prescribed orders of zeros into negative deformation spaces of such singularities, generalizing Pinkham's correspondence between monomial curve singularities and Weierstrass semigroups to the case of multiple points. Our construction provides a uniform approach to describe these singularities and their invariants, initially studied by Alper–Fedorchuk–Smyth in the context of the Hassett–Keel log minimal model program of the moduli space of curves. This is a joint work with Dawei Chen.
