Title: Cluster algebras and monoidal categorification
Time & Venue: 2025年7月21日(星期一) 15:30-16:30 &南楼N820
Abstract: Cluster algebras, introduced by Fomin and Zelevinsky, are combinatorial-algebraic structures with profound connections to diverse areas of mathematics. Monoidal categorification provides a powerful framework to realize cluster algebras within the Grothendieck rings of tensor categories. This expository talk will survey how cluster structures emerge naturally in representation theory, with emphasis on Hernandez-Leclerc’s work on module categories of quantum affine algebras and Kang-Kashiwara-Kim-Oh’s work on module categories of quiver Hecke algebras. Some remarkable results will be highlighted.
