Title: Wavefront sets of real classical groups

Abstract: A classical result of Moeglin and Waldspurger in 1987 says that for a smooth irreducible admissble representation of a p-adic reductive group, two sets of nilpotent orbits arising from the character expansion and generalized Whittaker models respectively are equal. We will prove this result for generic packets of real classical groups, by comparing both sets with a third set of nilpotent orbits arising from the enhanced L-parameters via the local GGP conjecture. For the comparisons, we prove a composition law for generalized Whittaker models, and combine the results of Schmid-Vilonen, Matumoto and Trapa. Joint works with Dihua Jiang, Zhikang Luo, Jiajun Ma and Lei Zhang.
