Title:The lambda-ring structure in differential K-theory

Abstract:The lambda-ring structure in K-theory is first introduced by Grothendieck when he established the Riemann-Roch-Grothendieck theorem. Its topological version was introduced by Atiyah. The differential K-theory by Freed–Hopkins, Hopkins–Singer, Simons–Sullivan …. in this century is a smooth version of the arithmetic K-theory. It extends the topological K-theory by adding Hermitian metrics and connections on vector bundles and differential forms modulo exact forms.We show the differential K-theory has a lambda-ring structure,and induce naturally an Adams operation. This is a joint work with Bo Liu.
