Abstract: In this talk, I will present a series of recent developments in computing the degeneracy of states for various partition functions. The discussion of preseminar will cover the superconformal indices of N=4 Super-Yang-Mills theory, while the formal discussion will cover modularity of free Conformal Field Theories (CFTs) in four dimensions and d-matrix approach and its application to counting problems, demonstrating how these mathematical structures facilitate efficient state counting.
