Title: A global existence result for the KP-II flow around Kodama solitons

Abstract: In the early 2000s, a rich class of exact solutions to the KP-II equations was identified by Y. Kodama. These solutions are particularly interesting because they describe coherent structures similar to certain structures observed in the ocean. In this presentation, we will present a global existence result for
KP-II solutions with non-decaying initial data, which allows us to define a global dynamics around the Kodama solutions.This is a joined work with Z. Guo (Monash University), J.-C. Saut (Paris-Saclay University) and T. Tanaka (Yokohama University).
